The Miniature evolved through the crossing of the Schnauzer using smaller
working dogs such as the Affenpinscher, the size was reduced and the Miniature
variety evolved Colours 'Salt and Pepper', Black and Silver, Black, White.
Height 14 inches (35.6cms) for dogs and 13 inches (33cms) for bitches.
Temperament: Very intelligent and alert, makes an ideal pet for people
of all ages, from the busy family to the senior citizen.
Exercise: Medium amount.
Grooming: Handstripping will achieve the best look and care of coat, although
some do prefer to clip.
Living Environment: Suited to both town and country living
Feeding: Undemanding.
